Guide

Reviews are the one thing a portal cannot take from you.

When to ask, how to ask, and the shortcuts that get a listing penalised.

Why the asking usually fails

Most dealers ask at the wrong moment. A week after the sale, by phone, when the buyer is at work and the car is no longer new to them. Almost nobody writes a review from that.

The right moment is handover. The buyer is standing next to a car they just bought, they are pleased, their phone is already in their hand, and you are in front of them. The same request converts many times better there than it ever will over the phone.

Reviews also compound. A showroom with two hundred reviews gets more of them, because buyers who see a busy listing assume reviewing is what people do.

Seven things that work

  1. Ask at handover, not later

Why it matters. This one change matters more than the other six together. Pleased, present, phone in hand.

How to do it. Make it part of giving the keys: "Ek chhota favour — Google par do line likh dijiye." Then hand them the code.

  2. A QR code at the counter

Why it matters. Anything that requires searching for your showroom loses people. A code goes straight to the review box.

How to do it. Print your review link as a QR and stick it where handovers happen. Test it with your own phone first.

  3. A short link over WhatsApp

Why it matters. For buyers who have left, WhatsApp is answered and phone calls are not.

How to do it. Send the review link the same evening with one line thanking them by name. Once. Not three times.

  4. Ask everyone, not only the delighted

Why it matters. Asking only the happiest looks like selection and produces a lumpy pattern of five-star bursts. Ordinary satisfied buyers write the reviews that read as real.

How to do it. Make it routine for every sale, not a decision you make about each buyer.

  5. Reply to every review

Why it matters. Replies are read by the next hundred buyers, not by the person who wrote it. A calm reply to a complaint sells more than a wall of praise.

How to do it. Reply within a couple of days. Thank the good ones briefly. For the bad ones, answer the specific point and offer to sort it offline.

  6. Fix the thing the reviews keep mentioning

Why it matters. If four people mention paperwork delays, that is a business problem showing up as a rating problem, and no amount of asking will out-run it.

How to do it. Read your own reviews once a month and look for the repeat.

  7. Keep it going

Why it matters. A listing with fifty reviews all from one month reads as a campaign. Steady arrival reads as a working business.

How to do it. A few every month beats thirty in a week, and is safer.

What not to do, and why it matters

Do not buy reviews, do not write them yourself, do not offer a discount or a gift in exchange, and do not put a tablet in the showroom that only lets satisfied customers through. All four break Google’s review policies. Reviews can be removed, and a listing can be penalised — losing the reviews you earned honestly along with the ones you did not.

We do not write or reply to reviews for you, and we cannot remove a bad one. Nobody can, unless it breaks Google’s policies, in which case you report it and Google decides. What we provide is the code and the link that make asking easy, and the reminder to ask.

A rating also cannot be argued upwards. The only reliable way past a bad month is a steady flow of ordinary honest reviews after it.

Do it yourself, or let us

None of this costs anything. Your review link is free from your own Business Profile, and a printed QR code costs a sheet of paper.

That is what we do for ₹500 a month: your own site with every car on it, a printable QR for each one, ready WhatsApp posters, and your Google profile scored every two weeks so you know what is still missing. Month to month, cancel any time.

Questions dealers ask

Review ka link kahan se milta hai?

Apne Google Business Profile se — "Ask for reviews" par short link milta hai. Usi ka QR bana kar counter par rakh dein.

Kya review ke badle discount de sakte hain?

Nahi. Google ki policy ke against hai. Review hataye ja sakte hain aur listing par action aa sakta hai — jo asli review aapne kamaye hain wo bhi ja sakte hain.

Bura review aa gaya to?

Shanti se jawab dein aur baat offline suljhane ko kahein. Jawab agla sau customer padhta hai. Hataana kisi ke haath mein nahi hai, sirf Google ke, aur wo policy todne par hi hataata hai.

Kya aap review likhte ya jawab dete hain?

Nahi. Hum QR aur link dete hain, aur yaad dilate hain ki maangna hai. Likhna customer ka kaam hai, jawab aapka.

Kitne review chahiye?

Bees ke aas paas se listing bharosemand lagti hai. Uske baad jitne zyada, utna acha — par har mahine thode thode, ek hafte mein tees nahi.
